Template notice. This privacy policy is a customizable template provided with the theme. It is not legal advice. Review and adapt it with a qualified professional before publishing on a live site.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how WP Atölye ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website and use our services. We aim to collect as little data as possible and to be transparent about how it is handled.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the service:

  • Account email. When you create a free account to download themes, we store your email address and a hashed password.
  • Download logs. We record which theme version was downloaded and when, to support changelog accuracy and abuse prevention.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and referring page, retained for security and diagnostics.

How we use it

We use the data above to provide and secure the service: to authenticate your account, deliver theme downloads, prevent abuse, send essential account or release notifications, and improve our documentation and themes. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function — for example, to keep you signed in. Where optional cookies (such as analytics) are used, we ask for consent first where required by law. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party services

We rely on a few third-party providers to run the site:

  • Web fonts (e.g. Google Fonts) to render typography.
  • Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage and improve the site.
  • Hosting and email delivery to serve pages and send essential messages.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. Replace these with your actual providers before publishing.

Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Download and server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics, then deleted or anonymized. If you close your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to keep it by law.

Your rights

As a Turkish-origin studio serving a global audience, we honor the rights granted under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
